Flights are booked! And other updates…

I am very pleased to share that we have booked our flights to Iceland in November! I am super excited and also a little scared, especially when I see the countdown on my Easyjet app telling me it is 67 days away. No time at all!

I have also started an Instagram, along with an awesome widget I found that will display my latest post on my home page so you can see what I am up to. Fancy…right? If you haven’t gone over there feel free to follow me @pillar_to_post. It’s brand new and I will be posting lots of cool stuff on there too.

My final piece of exciting news is about my first Iclandic vlog that I filmed at the weekend. It is my first attempt so may not be the slickest, but as they say, it’s the thought that counts. Hopefully you will enjoy it enough to subscribe to my channel so you can see all the new content as soon as it goes live.

As always let me know what you think in the comments and I will see you next time.

Ciao for now!

  1. Mjög gott! Það er frábært! You’ve made amazing progress in 23 days. I was last in Iceland for a month in 2014 (mid-September to mid-October), and I really wish I could go back soon. I hope to go around Christmas the next time, to experience the holiday traditions and the winter darkness. Góða skemmtun!

    1. Takk fyrir! I still feel like I don’t know a lot but I do think I will reach my goal by November. Going at Christmas sounds like a great idea. Now comes all the fun planning and preparation ready to go; cannot wait.
